University Hospital - St. Paul is a 300-bed private facilty located across the street from UT Southwestern's medical center.

University Hospital - St. Paul's patient population provides unique opportunities for residents to care for lung transplant patients, adult cystic fibrosis, cardiac transplant and heart failure, and complex rheumatological cases.

Numerous sub-specialty rotations are becoming available for interested residents. UTSW's internal medicine training program staffs four ward teams and four ICU teams.
