Basic Infertility Services:

- Natural Cycle Monitoring
- Ovulation induction
- Intrauterine Insemination
- Minimally invasive surgery such as laparoscopy or hysteroscopy

In Vitro Fertilization:

The steps involved in an IVF treatment cycle include controlled ovarian hyperstimulation, egg retrieval, fertilization and embryo culture, and embryo transfer. Embryo freezing is also done if there are extra embryos remaining after the embryo transfer is done.

Male Factor Infertility:

The laboratory technique of Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (or ICSI) has revolutionized the way we can treat male infertility. Even men with no sperm in their semen can father a pregnancy if the urologist extracts sperm from the man’s epididymis or testicle for use in IVF. The success rate with this technique varies considerably among IVF programs and is highly dependent upon the skill of the embryologist performing the procedure.

Preimplantation Genetic Screening:

The Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine is pleased to offer Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS), a form of genetic testing that allows couples at risk for certain chromosomal or genetic disorders to have embryos tested before a pregnancy is established.

Comprehensive Chromosome Screening (CCS):

The Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine (CCRM) is conducting a clinical trial screening for all 23 pairs of human chromosomes prior to embryo transfer.

Egg Freezing:

At CCRM, we performed an initial clinical trial freezing oocytes for patients who desired pregnancy in the near future so that we would be able to thaw those eggs in a short time and determine survival rates, fertilization rates, and pregnancy rates. With this new method of vitrification, we have achieved egg survival rates of approximately 80%, fertilization rates of over 80%, and pregnancy rates above 50%.
